Will epoxy hold up to Montana road salt?
A properly prepped system with a chemical-resistant topcoat handles tracked-in de-icer far better than bare concrete or garage paint. Ask which topcoat chemistry they use and whether the warranty mentions chemical staining.
Can you coat in cold weather?
Most epoxies need the slab and air in a stated temperature band. Billings winters are often too cold; spring through early fall is typical. Some polyaspartic products have wider windows — ask the installer.
What about cracks from freeze-thaw?
